Pride

A feel-good, family-friendly, factually based film about a former competitive swimmer (Terrence Howard) who teaches pride, determination, and resilience when he forms a six-member swim team (Kevin Phillips, Nate Parker, Evan Ross, Regine Nehy, et al.) at a dilapidated recreational facility in 1974 despite opposition of a skeptical city representative (Kimberly Elise), a gruff Philadelphia Department of Recreation employee (Bernie Mac), and a bigoted, rival coach (Tom Arnold).
