Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon A clever, satirical, tongue-in-cheek horror film in which a student filmmaker (Angela Goethals) and two assistants (Ben Pace and Britain Spellings) in Maryland foolishly accept an invitation by a would-be serial killer (Nathan Baesel) to document his plan to systematically murder teenagers (Jenafer Brown, Kate Lang Johnson, Krissy Carlson, Matt Bolt, et al.) and become a legend like his heroes Freddy Krueger, Michael Myers, and Jason Voorhees.
