Antônia The road to stardom for four talented and versatile Brazilian singers has many detours in Tata Amaral's film when one rap artist (Cindy Mendes) tells her jealous boyfriend that she is pregnant, one singer (Leilah Moreno) is charged with manslaughter after killing the juvenile who attacked her gay brother (Chico Andrade) and killed his lover, and another jealous singer (Negra Li) who has a young daughter (Nathalye Cris) wrongly accuses her longtime friend (Jacqueline Simão) of having eyes for her boyfriend (Fernando Macario).
