Boxers An insightful and interesting Joanna Kohler documentary that follows a group of amateur boxers, including a social worker (Rebecca Gilgen), an ELL teacher (Amy Laboe), a special education teaching assistant (Sarah Mickelson), a bartender (Rachel Schley), a college student (Dagney Willey), and the team trainer (Gina Campbell), as they train six days per week at the Uppercut Gym owned by coach Lisa Bauch in Minneapolis, Minn., to compete at the Ringside International Tournament in Kansas City, MO, on Aug. 6, 2005, which attracts upwards of 1,500 boxers.
