El Topo

A visually compelling, nonsensical, violent, irreverent, 1970 allegorical western reminiscent of Federico Fellini that begins with a Mexican gunfighter (Alejandro Jodorowsky) who leaves his young naked son (Brontis Jodorowsky) with monks as he teams up with a tortured Franciscan priestess (Mara Lorenzio) to avenge a blood-splattered massacre by fighting four mysterious, master gunmen in the desert and ends tragically in a bizarre religious allegory filled with deformed cavedwellers and a menacing sheriff.
