Grbavica: The Land of My Dreams While a shoe factory worker (Mirjana Karanovic) in Sarajevo struggles to raise her rebellious, 12-year-old daughter (Luna Mijovic) on her own after the Balkan War and takes a second job as a nightclub waitress to pay for a school field trip in Jasmila Zbanic's touching, award-winning film, her daughter struggles with fitting in with her peers, with her burgeoning romantic feelings for a student (Kenan Catic) with whom she feels a special bond, and with her unfulfilled need to learn more about her father she believes is a martyr.
