Zodiac While homicide detectives (Mark Ruffalo, Anthony Edwards, Dermot Mulroney, et al.) and a cynical, alcoholic reporter (Robert Downey, Jr.) frustratingly try to determine the identity of a cold-blooded serial killer who began to randomly kill people in 1969 in California in this initially slow paced, but otherwise suspenseful factually based thriller, a tenacious political cartoonist (Jake Gyllenhaal) for the San Francisco Chronicle beomes obsessed with solving the still unsolved case and jeopardizes his wife (Chloë Sevigny) and three children.
