Fur: An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus

A strange, visually compelling, fictionalized snapshot into the life of world-class photographer Diane Arbus (Nicole Kidman) that frustratingly combines real life tidbits with imaginary characters as she slowly moves out of the shadow as a nervous assistant to her successful husband (Ty Burrell) in his New York City studio and mother to her two young daughters (Emmy Clarke and Genevieve McCarthy) in 1958 to a photographer in her own right and becomes eerily fascinated with an often masked, terminally ill, hairy upstairs neighbor (Robert Downey, Jr.) and his sideshow circus friends.
