Idlewild

While an adulterous owner (Antwan A. Patton) of a Georgia speakeasy tries to keep control of the club in 1935 after a power-hungry bootlegger (Terrence Howard) guns down two mobsters (Ving Rhames and Faizon Love) in this entertaining musical, a shy piano-playing songwriter (André Benjamin) falls for a lovely singer (Paula Patton) and then tries to summon his courage to get out from under the controlling thumb of his mortician father.
