Edmond

In this taut, haunting, disturbing, and intensely powerful film based on David Mamet's 1983 play, a naïve, glum, and cynical middle-aged businessman (William H. Macy) spirals of out control and steps into madness while touring the underbelly of New York City after abruptly leaving his angry and bewildered wife (Rebecca Pidgeon) and encountering callous women (Denise Richards, Ling Bai, Mena Suvari, and Debi Mazar) of the night, a thieving pimp (Lionel Mark Smith) and a street shill (Russell Hornsby), and wannabe-actress waitress (Julia Stiles) who unfortunately accepts a one-night stand.
