Loverboy Kevin Bacon directs this eerie, well-acted, cameo-studded (Campbell Scott, Oliver Platt, Marisa Tomei, Matt Dillon, and Blair Brown) art film about a disturbed, eccentric, free-spirited woman (Kyra Sedgwick) who travels from state to state having reckless, anonymous one-night stands in a desperate attempt to get pregnant and then ends up smothering and isolating her beloved son (Dominic Kay Scott) with dire consequences.
