Monster House After a couple (voiceovers by Catherine O'Hara and Fred Willard) leave their inquisitive son (voiceover by Mitchel Musso) at home with a Goth-like babysitter (voiceover by Maggie Gyllenhaal) and her boyfriend (voiceover by Jason Lee) on Halloween in this animated horror film with fascinating claymation characters, the young boy, his best friend (voiceover by Sam Lerner), and a gutsy girl (voiceover by Spencer Locke) end up befriending their gruff, elderly neighbor (voiceover by Steve Buscemi) who had terrorized them for years to help him escape from his creepy, monstrous house that is possessed by the tortured soul of his rotund dead wife (voiceover by Kathleen Turner) who was mercilessly teased due to her size.
