Prairie Home Companion, A Stellar music performances by a strong ensemble cast (Garrison Keillor, Meryl Streep, Lily Tomlin, Tommy Lee Jones, John C. Reilly, Woody Harrelson, Lindsay Lohan, Tim Russell, et al.) dominates this quirky Robert Altman film about the backstage and onstage antics during the live broadcast of a popular, long-running radio variety show in St. Paul, MN, and a mysterious white trench-coat-clad blonde (Virginia Madsen) who appears to the klutzy door keeper (Kevin Kline) on the last night of the show.
