Delicatessen A deliciously sinister and delightfully macabre 1991 French comedy, which is reminiscent of the smash Broadway hit Sweeney Todd, focuses on the eccentric tenants of an apartment building in post-apocalyptic France and the odd, hefty landlord (Jean-Claude Dreyfus) who uses them as a source of meat for his downstairs butcher shop.
