Shaggy Dog, The After a workaholic deputy district attorney (Tim Allen) is bitten by a 300-year-old Tibetan sheepdog that has escaped from a Los Angeles laboratory at which a greedy, shady scientist (Robert Downey Jr.) and his cohorts (Philip Baker Hall, et al.) have been conducting gene-altering, fountain-of-youth experiments on caged animals in this family-oriented Disney comedy, the lawyer morphs into a dog and grows closer to his neglected wife (Kristin Davis) and two kids (Spence Breslin and Zena Grey).
