Munich The Steven Spielberg tension-filled, well-crafted, gritty political thriller that documents the fictionalized aftermath of the horrific, senseless murder of Israeli athletes at the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich by Black September Arab-Palestinians after which Prime Minister Golda Meir (Lynn Cohen) and a no-nonsense Israeli government official (Geoffrey Rush) cajole a former Mossad agent (Eric Bana) and bodyguard to leave his pregnant wife (Ayelet Zurer) to lead a covert, eclectic, international team (Daniel Craig, Ciarán Hinds, Mathieu Kassovitz, and Hanns Zischler) to exact retaliation against the eleven terrorists sprinkled around the globe.
