Ringer, The An often painfully funny, but ultimately uplifting comedy in which six disabled special athletes (Edward Barbanell, Geoffrey Arend, Jed Rees, Brian Chott, et al.) befriend a soft-hearted Texan (Johnny Knoxville) who reluctantly poses as a mentally challenged athlete in the Special Olympics to earn money for his optimistic gardener (Stavi) who lost three fingers in a lawnmowing accident and for his sleazy uncle (Brian Cox) who owes money to the bad guys.
