G In this uninspired 2002 film loosely based on F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby, jealously rears its ugly head in the Hamptons and turns deadly when a possessive singer (Laz Alonzo) discovers that his girlfriend (Lalanya Masters) is cheating on him and a hot-tempered, affluent stockbroker (Blair Underwood) suspects that his comely wife (Cheona Maxwell) is having an affair with a successful hip-hop music producer (Richard T. Jones).
