Serenity In this convoluted, quip-filled, sci-fi Western based on the canceled television series Firefly, a spaceship captain (Nathan Fillion) and his crew (Adam Baldwin, Sean Maher, Alan Tudyk, Jewel Staite, and Gina Torres) try to protect a superhuman telepath (Summer Glau) from a determined assassin (Chiwetel Ejiofor) who will kill anyone and stop at nothing to find his target; fans of Firefly will be even more into this film.
