Ninth Day, The

A Nazi officer (August Diehl) releases a Catholic priest (Ulrich Matthes) from the Dachau concentration camp in 1942 and returns him to his family (Bibiana Beglau, Germain Wagner, and Jean-Paul Raths) with the stipulation that he has eight days to convince the bishop (Hilmar Thate) of Luxembourg to endorse Hitler's religious fanaticism in this powerful, factually based film.
