Monsieur N. This somber, intriguing film documents the last years in the life of Napoleon Bonaparte (Philippe Torreton) when he was exiled to St. Helene island in the early 1800s, gives insight into the English officers (Richard E. Grant, Jay Rodan, et al.) who were in charge at this remote military post, and speculates what may have happened if Napoleon had escaped from his island imprisonment.
