Hawaii, Oslo On a record hot day in Oslo, a guardian angel (Trond Espen Seim) intertwines the lives of numerous Norwegians, including parents (Stig Henrik Hoff and Silje Torp Færavaag) of a newborn boy who has a rare heart defect, a suicidal singer (Petronella Barker) who meets her two estranged sons (Benjamin Lønne Røsler and Ferdinand Falsen Hiis) after a paramedic (Robert Skjærstad) saves her life, and a stewardess (Evy Elise Kasseth Røsten) engaged to a jogging-loving kleptomaniac (Jan Gunnar Røise) who celebrates his birthday with his up-to-no-good, lying brother (Aksel Hennie).
