Tales of Intransigence This whimsical Turkish film gives insight into traditions and customs by weaving together a series of vignettes in which a man on a sleigh races with a four-wheel vehicle driver across a snow-driven landscape, a father forces a wannabe bride to solve a puzzle in order to marry his son, a shrewd gambler makes a crazy bet with a banker, and two stubborn men participate in a wishbone-pulling contest.
