Assault on Precinct 13 In this well-paced, tension-filled remake of the 1976 film, a handful of Detroit cops (Ethan Hawke, Brian Dennehy, Matt Craven, et al.), a sexy police secretary (Drea de Matteo), a psychologist (Maria Bello), and four inmates (Laurence Fishburne, John Leguizamo, Ja Rule, and Aisha Hinds) fend off an assault by dirty cop (Gabriel Byrne) and his cronies at a defunct police station on New Year's Eve.
