Around the World in 80 Days When the malicious Minister of Science (Jim Broadbent) challenges an eccentric British inventor (Steve Coogan) to circumvent the globe in 80 days in this entertaining remake of the Jules Verne 1956 classic, an agile Chinese guy (Jackie Chan) posing as a French valet accompanies the clumsy inventor and a French painter (Cécile De France) on the perilous journey in order to return a jade Buddha that he has stolen from the Bank of England to his village.
