Van Helsing Nonstop action, splendid special effects, and wit enliven this film about a Vatican-endorsed monster hunter (Hugh Jackman) and an inventive friar (David Wenham) who go to vampire-infested Transylvania in 1888 to help a princess (Kate Beckinsale) kill her family's longtime arch nemesis, Count Dracula (Richard Roxburgh), and to save her werewolf-infected brother (Will Kemp) with the help of Frankenstein's monster (Shuler Hensley).
