Fighting Temptations, The An entertaining, but sometimes preachy comedy about a less than honest New York City advertising executive (Cuba Gooding, Jr.) who heads to his hometown in Georgia to attend a funeral and is lured into leading members (Mike Epps, Beyoncé Knowles, Melba Moore, et al.) of a gospel choir in order to inherit money from his aunt (Ann Nesby).
