Hulk Great special effects cannot compensate for this too long, over-the-top Ang Lee film based on the Marvel comic book about a cutting-edge scientist (Eric Bana) who turns into a colossal green monster when provoked after a lab experiment goes awry to the horror of his steadfast girlfriend (Jennifer Connelly) but to the squealing delight of his maniacal father (Nick Nolte).
