Rabbit-Proof Fence After a callous Australian bureaucrat (Kenneth Branagh) yanks three half-cast Aboriginal girls (Everlyn Sampi, Tianna Sansbury, and Laura Monaghan) from their family and places them in a government-sponsored camp in an effort to eradicate mix-breeding and to train them to be domestic servants, they evade a tracker (David Gulpilil) and police to walk more than 1,500 miles across the Gibson Desert in 1931 to return home.
