CQ In this convoluted, madcap satire that spoofs the filmmaking industry in 1969, plots intertwine when an American film editor (Jeremy Davies) shooting his own monochromatic biography in Paris gets a chance to direct a schlock sci-fi thriller reminiscent of Barbarella after the wacky producer (Giancarlo Giannini) fires his first director (Gerard Depardieu) because of his inability to develop a unique ending for the movie because of his fixation for the seductive lead actress (Angela Lindvall).
