Minority Report In this Stephen Spielberg sci-fi thriller, a dug-addicted cop (Tom Cruise) in 2054 Washington, D.C., has invented a system with his boss (Max von Sydow) in which three psychics are used to prevent a crime before it happens, but he quickly learns that system is not foolproof when he is pursued by precrime detectives (Colin Farrell, Neal McDonough, et al.) for a murder he will commit.
