Traffic  In this high-tension potboiler about the futile war on drugs, a government official (Michael Douglas) ends up in the trenches on his home turf when he learns that his daughter (Erik Christensen) is a drug addict, while Mexican policemen (Benicio Del Toro and Jacob Vargas) and DEA agents (Don Cheadle and Luis Guzman) use their own tactics to stop drug trafficking by American drug lords (Steven Bauer), their accomplices (Catherine Zeta-Jones, Dennis Quaid, and Miguel Ferrer), and their Mexican counterparts (Tomas Milian).
